Michael Bailey is a noted conservationist, adventure television program contributor, and international policy advocate who places a high degree of emphasis on action.

He directs projects and expeditions to research and act upon wildlife preservation, environmental issues, and efforts that benefit humankind as a whole. Michael’s ability to serve pivotal roles in ocean conservation was exemplified in WorldOpt’s high seas video documentation and legal enforcement efforts that successfully encouraged the release of scores of beluga and orca whales from what National Geographic Television and other news media proclaimed as the ‘Notorious Russian Whale Jail’.

Michael Bailey’s true calling was found young in life, when scuba diving, conservation, and international travel adventures began at age 17. Using his body as a human shield to protect whales from explosive harpoon cannons and baby white seals from being clubbed to death, at age 21 he was the youngest person to have been voted onto Greenpeace’s founding Board of Directors.

Katie Cartwright maintains a longstanding career in events development on topics that include environmental conservation, health impacts of pollution, climate change and social responsibility.

Katie is experienced in attracting audiences for presentations, public meetings, and group think-tanks. She is an interpersonal communication professional who provides expert counseling in the areas of fitness of mind and body, well being, and hypno-therapy.

Richard Stancliff, Ph.D., co-founder of the WorldOpt Institute, helps guide efforts in predictive modeling and best practices for sustainability.

This work began in the 1970s, when he developed housing and job training initiatives for underserved communities in Berkeley, California. Richard emphasizes the power of “thinking about our thinking,” advancing the use of improved mental and analytical models to support responsible stewardship of our planet.

Phillip Willcher M.H.,C.H.T., is a professional facilitator, mediator and interpersonal communications specialist who carries a longstanding interest and passion pertaining to the natural environment.

Phil is a skilled Facilitator and Mediator. He carries counseling experience among corporate leaders, businesses, individuals, couples and groups.

As a global citizen, Phil has seen and experienced the ravages of war, poverty, fear and social instability. He carries deep passions for the wellbeing of societies and recognizes the pressing needs for ecological balance within all communities.

Evern Williams enjoys a longstanding career in the area of public media, broadcast television, youth education, and public outreach.

Evern states that one of her primary joys in life is helping people discover what they are capable of and embracing their higher potential. She is a community connector and systems thinker who builds bridges between people, purpose, and place.

With a deep understanding of Hawai'i's diverse communities, she brings experience in uniting the nonprofit, education, business, and government sectors to foster partnerships that uplift and enhance public well-being.

Harvey Arkin currently serves as an Advisor to the WorldOpt Institute. Harvey has previously served on the board of directors An active conservationist, Harvey is an avid hiker, sailor and ocean enthusiast. Engaging and working within campaigns for ‘green’ and environmentally-aware political candidates, Harvey advocates for public policies which support nature, conservation and social sustainability.

Harvey’s involvement with ecologically sound business practices began early in life when he served a co-founder of a metal recycling company. He is a vegetarian, advocating that such reduces his carbon footprint..

Encouraging community education and individual development through experiences in nature is a theme that he fully supports.

Harvey’s interests in maintaining natural balances with living earth ecosystems is equally expressed as a Feldenkrais practitioner teaching body movement re-education and personal wellness.

Grant Barbeito is an environmental filmmaker on a mission to raise awareness and inspire action for the planet. As the visionary founder of Earth Protect, he has dedicated his life to making a positive impact on our world by using the power of film to tell compelling stories about the environment, conservation, and sustainability.

A lifelong nature enthusiast, Grant’s journey into environmental filmmaking was driven by his deep-seated passion for the natural world.

Grant’s work transcends boundaries and speaks to audiences of all backgrounds. His documentaries and films capture the beauty of the Earth, as well as the challenges it faces in the modern world.

Rosemary engages video editing and media production while maintaining WorldOpt Institute’s media archives.

A respected artist in her own right, she carries diverse skills in both camera, editing and researching of media and images.

‘Rosie’ enjoys agronomy, horticulture and sustaining of both local farm culture and natural forest ecosystems.

Misayo applies her skills as an experienced bi-lingual multicultural project manager, maintaining communications within the ever-evolving WorldOpt Institute Projects and Administration network.

She carries expertise in the fields of graphics, layout, design and messaging.Regularly monitoring world affairs provides Misayo with insights into feasible actions and objectives.

Experienced with both accounting and administrative tasks management and project implementation, Frildo regularly presents solutions and insights in areas of efficiency and development.

He insures that WorldOpt Institute maintains accurate accounting practices meet the desired criteria of the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) team that examines and maintains WorldOpt Institute’s fiscal needs and financial standards.

Michal manages the World Opt Institute website, ensuring the organization's online platform remains clear, up-to-date, and easy to navigate. He handles website development, content updates, and day-to-day maintenance to keep the site running smoothly in support of WorldOpt's mission.

Michal originally built and donated the first World Opt website to the organization and has been part of the team ever since, making WorldOpt's resources and projects accessible to a global audience.

As Digital Media Producer at WorldOpt, Ozzy Brewer crafts the visual and digital frameworks that define our organization's presence. From high-impact video production to immersive web development and refined graphic design, he builds cohesive digital ecosystems designed to engage and inspire.
